Our Firm Our firm was started in October of 1986 by our founder, William F. Anastas. Mr. Anastas is the sole owner and proprietor. Prior to 1986 he was employed as an auditor for the IRS for two years, a manager for H&R Block for two years and as technical manager for two independent tax software firms, Independent Tax Corporation (which was purchased by SCS Compute) and Compucraft Data Services (which was purchased by Intuit). He has also served as a software consultant to Exactax, Inc. for many years until their software was purchased by UltraTax of Dexter, Mi.. Mr. Anastas passed the special enrollment exam administered by the IRS in 1985 and maintains his license as an Enrolled Agent. This license affords him the same priveledges as an attorney or CPA when representing clients before the IRS or FTB.  He also maintains a Series 7 Securities License and a California Insurance License. Mr. Anastas is a graduate of San Jose State, earning a bachelor's degree in Economics in 1975.

Locations Our firm operates from two locations, 11 N. Sixth Street, Redlands, CA 92373 and 5182 Katella Avenue Suite 103B, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. The Redlands office is located in the picturesque old town section of downtown Redlands where there are numerous shops and restaraunts. Thursday nights in Redlands is Market night and the Redlands Bicycle Classic draws huge crowds in March.The office is on the corner of State and Sixth, next to the Gourmet Pizza Shoppe and the Frugal Frigate Bookstore. The Los Alamitos office is located across the street from the Los Alamitos racetrack.     As time goes by, technology plays a larger role in our lives. More and more we find it is no longer necessary to have face to face meetings. It is our goal to stay abreast of the rapid changes in technology and provide today's technologically savvy clients with the services they have come to expect. With these changes, where we are becomes less important. We have accepted mail-in returns for many years from many parts of the country and will continue to do so; but we also have the capability of providing web-based services which will allow you a new level of accessability, speed and convenience.
